Anna Smith
Anna Margaret Smith, 91, 217 E. Oak St., Celina, died 5:41 a.m. March 2, 2007, at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1915, in Celina to Frank and Matilda (Kraudelt) Zender. On Oct. 18, 1937, she married Francis Smith, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Patrick (Janet), Celina; two daughters, Judy (Joe)
Otte, North Star, and Elaine (Jim) Loughridge, Coldwater; a daughter-in-law, Karla Smith, Seattle Wash.; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Gerry; three brothers, Charles Zender, Linus Zender, and Tom Zender; and a grandson.
She was the organist of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, for 17 years. She was a member of that church and its Alter Rosary Sodality and choir. She was also a member of the Knight of St. John Auxiliary. She was a 1933 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and before 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
