Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Martha Karch
Martha M. Karch, 95, 1001 Myers Road, Celina, died at 10:50 a.m. April 1, 2007, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 28, 1911, in New Castle, Ind., to Russell and Gertrude Kaufman Friddle. On Aug. 18, 1935, she married George Earl Karch, who died in March of 1993.
Deceased are two sons, James and Phillip and an infant son, Thomas; a brother, George; and two sisters, Wanda and Sarah.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, the Alturian Club and a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
