Mildred Said
Mildred J. Said, 90, 304 Brentwood Ave., Piqua, died at 10:25 p.m. April 3, 2007, at Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 10, 1917, in New Castle, Ind., to Jesse and Laura Freeman Beougher. On July 13, 1936, she married James W. Said, who died Feb. 15, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jo Schimmel, Piqua; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Howard Beougher and a son-in-law, Richard M. Schimmel.
She was employed as a waitress in the Piqua area including Fort Piqua Hotel Resturant, and was a graduate of Kennard High School, in Indiana. She was a life member of American Legion Auxilary and honorary member of the Piqua Leisure Club.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua, the Rev. James Alumbaugh officiating. Burial is at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
Calling is 12-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
