At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Richard Dreffer
Richard Lee Dreffer, 79, 317 Summit St., Celina, died at 4:30 a.m. April 6, 2007, at his residence in Celina.
He was born Dec. 9, 192, in Coldwater to John Roy and Anna Morgan Dreffer. On Oct. 26, 1974, he married Bonnie Granger-Monroe, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are three sons, Luke, Columbus, Michael Monroe, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mark Monroe, Columbus; two daughters, Sara Hamblin and Melinda, both of Celina; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are his first wife, Joanne Kendall, and two brothers, Morgan and Jack.
He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and Fort Wayne Business College. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Celina First Church of God and Celina Masonic Lodge No. 241 F&AM.
Services are 7 p.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. There will be a private family burial with military honors on Wednesday at North Grove Cemetery. Masonic Lodge services will be 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.
