Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

The Rev. Anthony Gamble, 93, of St. Charles Center, Carthagena, died at 3 a.m. April 8, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles.
Calling is 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles, with a wake service at 7 p.m.
