Lewis Larmore
Lewis Lee Larmore, 77, 315 Harbor Point Drive, Celina, died at 5:10 p.m. April 18, 2007, at his residence. Death was due to an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 7, 1929, in Celina, to Robert and Myrtle Miller Larmore. On Nov. 9, 1952, he married Mary Winn, who survivies.
Also surviving are two sons, Steven (Nan) and Jeffrey (Karen), all of Celina; a daughter, Marisa Jade Waterman, Celina; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Deceased is a half brother, Russel.
He retired from Lake Contracting Co., Celina, of which he was one the founding owners. He was a U.S. National Guard and Army Veteran serving in the 148th Infantry Division during the Korean War. He was a 1947 graduate of Celina High School and graduate of the International College of Business, Fort Wayne, Ind., with a degree in accounting. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina Free & Accepted Masonic Lodge Post 241, American Legion Post 210, Moose Lodge Post 1473 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1291, all of Celina, and Antioch Shrine, Dayton.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, with military rites performed by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The American Legion will perform a service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
