At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Robert Nedderman
Robert E. Nedderman, 88, 10431 Auglaize County Road 66A, St. Marys, died at 8:50 p.m. May 2, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born March 8, 1919, in German Township, Auglaize County, to William and Florentina Witte Nedderman. On Sept. 28, 1940, he married Leota E.M. Quellhorst, who survives.
Also suriving are a son, Bill (Marilyn), New Bremen; five daughters, Delores (Wendell) Schultz and Kaye Burd, all of St. Marys, Virginia Yahl, Florence, Ky., Nancy (Thomas) Hunter, Wapakoneta, and Betty (Larry) Symmonds, Englewood, Fla.; a brother, Forrest, St. Marys; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Marvin and Alfred.
He was a farmer in St. Marys Township, active member of Hillsdale United Brethren Church, St. Marys, and past member of New Bremen Historical Society and National Farmers Organization.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Elmer Long officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
