Rollin Bidlack
Rollin W. "Biddy" Bidlack, 82, of Oakwood, died at 11:01 p.m. May 3, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born March 8, 1925, in Oakwood, to Earl and Bessie Sherman Bidlack. On
April 10, 1948, he married Gertrude L. Schatz who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Joe (Janet) of Celina; two daughters, Judi (Larry) McClure, Findlay, and Jan (Jeff) Keipper, Van Wert; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Louise Spencer and Hulda Sawyer, are deceased.
He retired from farming and the former Grizzly plant in Paulding. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood, the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will follow at Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood, with military rites conducted by the Oakwood American Legion.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
