Tillie Martin
Tillie Ford Martin, 96, Willshire, died 12:15 a.m. June 1, 2007, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Sept. 17, 1910, to Leroy D. and Jennie C. Howell McDorman. She was married to John R. Martin, who is deceased. Her previous spouse was Edwin L. Ford Sr., who also is deceased.
Surviving are a son, Edwin L. Ford, Willshire; a step-daughter, JoAnn (Marvin M.) Ritchhart, Monroeville, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Janet Hefner; a son-in-law, Joseph Hefner; a daughter-in-law, Reva Kay Ford; four brothers, George, Theodore, Eugene and Leroy McDorman; and a sister, Florence Widmark.
She was a homemaker and employee of Rodeffer Cleaners. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Monday at Shawnee Chapel Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Lima. Burial is at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
