Raymond Perrine
Raymond E. Perrine, 86, 09144 Center Road, New Knoxville, died at 11:20 a.m. June 26, 2007, at St. Marys Living Center, St. Marys.
He was born Aug. 22, 1920, in Princeton, Ill., to Harry and Bertha Pierson Perrine. On Feb. 14, 1947, he married Virginia June Taylor, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James (Vivian), New Knoxville, Gary (Linda), Round Lake Park, Ill., and Brian (Chai), DuPont, Wash.; a daughter, Lynda (Mike) Mistkewicz, Billerica, Mass.; a sister, Louise Parker, Lindenhurst, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Larry and Lawrence.
He worked at a machinist at O'Brien's Machine Shop, Highland Park, Ill., was a 1938 graduate of Waukegan High School, Waukegan, Ill., and completed a machine trade school apprenticeship program prior to joining the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was a member of Bonniebrook Golf Club and Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks.
Services are 2 p.m. June 30, 2007, at Living Faith United Methodist Church, Waukegan, Ill., the Rev. Melissa Early officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville.
