Dorothy Schoenlein
Dorothy Schoenlein, 85, 1699 Siegrist-Jutte Road, Fort Recovery, died at 12:10 a.m. Aug. 11, 2007, at The Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Montezuma, to Henry and Eleanora Wilker Moeller. On Nov. 22, 1944, she married Eugene Schoenlein, who died July 22, 2007.
Surviving are a son, Gene (Ginny), St. Peter; five daughters, Mary Ellen Oomens, Dayton, Connie (Bob "Zeke") Hart, Fort Recovery, Lill (Ron) Dues and Laurie (Dick) Dues, St. Peter, and Lisa (Bill) Dues, St. Anthony; a brother, Richard (Doris), Celina; a sister, Ellen (Andy) Kramer, Chickasaw; a brother-in-law, Richard Boeckman, Minster; a sister-in-law, Florie, Chickasaw; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Wilbur "Pete" and Arthur; and three sisters, Alvira Boeckman, Viola Ontrop and Verena Tobe.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers Sodality and the Red Hat Ladies of the Gardens of St. Henry.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
