Special Weather Statement issued March 17 at 3:42AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

A hot one
Photo by Margie Wuebker/The Daily Standard

"How hot is it?" became a common question Wednesday as temperatures soared into the 90s. Some bank signs, like this one at The Peoples Bank in St. Marys, recorded 104-degree readings helped in large part by the blazing sun. A high temperature of 91 degrees was noted in the Celina area while other areas had readings into the higher 90s.
