Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Marion Local's Abby Niekamp helped keep her team unbeaten as the Flyers defeated Versailles in four games on Thursday. With the win and a loss by New Bremen, the Flyers take over sole possession of first place in the MAC.
