At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Richard Eilerman
Richard P. Eilerman, 63, 7880 Dawson Road, Fort Loramie, died at 11:54 a.m. Oct. 1, 2007, at Lima Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 12, 1944, in Piqua, to Albert and Rosella Varno Eilerman. His mother survives in Fort Loramie. On Nov. 8, 1969, he married Mildred Poeppelman, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Rick P. Jr., Fort Loramie; two daughters, Mindy (Dave) Waesch and Jill (Mark) Pleiman, all of Fort Loramie; two brothers, Jim (Gretchen), Fort Loramie, and Mark (Janice), Monroe, N.C.; three sisters, Ellen (Roger) Borchers, Franklin, Tenn., Diane (Larry) Martino, Versailles, and Doris (Terry) Ward, Sidney; and five grandchildren.
He worked at Fort Loramie Mills and was a farm machinery dealer. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Walkup Country Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries 1391, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
