Frank Steinbrunner
Frank A. Steinbrunner, 29, 2620 Sawmiller Road, Fort Recovery, died at 2:22 a.m. Nov. 2, 2007, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Death was due to a gunshot wound received on Oct. 13, 2007.
He was born Aug. 13, 1978, in Coldwater, to Walter and Karen Schmidt Steinbrunner, who survive in West Union.
Survivors are five brothers, Chris, Elkhart, Ind., Wally, Fort Recovery, Tony, Ridgeville, Ind., Matt, West Union, and Adam (Brenda), Geneva, Ind.; five sisters, Kari (Martin) Homan, West Alexandria, Judith (Ed) Jackson, Rockford, Betty, Celina, Theresa Wehnes, Fort Recovery, and Rose, West Union; and a grandmother, Anna, St. Joe.
He worked at Cooper Farms, St. Henry. He was a 1997 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and earned an associate degree in auto mechanics from the University of Northwestern Ohio, Lima.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Les Schmidt officiating. Burial is at Schmidt Memorial Cemetery, West Union.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
