Fort Recovery picked up the pace in the second half, outscoring Versailles 33-23 to come away with a 56-41 win in the Midwest Athletic Conference opener for both teams at Fort Site Fieldhouse.

A terrible shooting night spelled doom for the Celina boys basketball team in the Western Buckeye League opener of the season for both teams.

Celina shot just 35 percent from the floor and Wapakoneta took advantage as the Redskins downed the Bulldogs 55-51 at the Fieldhouse on Friday night.
