Fire destroyed a Rockford area barn early Saturday morning but attempts to save three horses inside proved successful.
Rockford Fire Department was called to 2638 U.S. 33 shortly after 6:15 a.m. when owner Stacey Hinkle spotted flames coming from his large bank barn.
