At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Pauline Imel
Pauline L. Imel, 89, 102 Harrison St., Fort Recovery, died Jan. 1, 2008, at her home.
She was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Noble Township, Jay County, Ind., to Ernest and Leatha Barger Young. On Nov. 11, 1939, she married LeRoy Imel, who died Sept. 15, 2002.  
Surviving are a son, Keith (Sandy), Fort Recovery; a daughter, Karen (Gary) Hargis, Fort Recovery; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Kay Petit, is deceased.
She formerly worked at the Jay Garment factory in Portland, Ind. She was a member of Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene and attended Noble Township grade school and Fort Recovery High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland, the Rev. Dennis Kelley officiating. Burial is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
