St. Henry - The Fort Recovery Indians used a huge fourth quarter to rally and defeat the St. Henry Redskins, 52-46, in Midwest Athletic Conference play Thursday night at the St. Henry Middle School Gymnasium.
The win keeps Fort Recovery's conference title hopes alive as it improves to 4-1 in the MAC while also raising the overall mark to 8-3. St. Henry falls to 1-4 in the conference and 1-11 overall. [More]

New jail sales tax collection starts in April
Mercer County Commissioners Thursday morning unanimously approved county budget appropriations for 2008.
This year's general fund appropriations increased $468,447.88 from last year's budget to a total of $10.21 million.
Mark Barhorst was re-elected president of the New Bremen Local Schools board of education during the organizational meeting Wednesday night.
Board member Keith Bornhorst was elected vice president, while new board members Kami Fox and Tim Quellhorst were sworn into their first terms.
