St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Weekend retreat

Instructor Drew Schwegman gives a few guitar tips to a group of Mercer County-area students during a Students Teaching About Resistance (STAR) weekend retreat program Sunday at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein. The seventh- and eighth-grade students were able to choose from a variety of workshops including yoga, make-up application and jewelry making. During the two-day retreat, the students also learned about drug and alcohol prevention by attending a variety of personal growth sessions on leadership and self-esteem.
