Charles Pennington
Charles E. Pennington, 56, of state Route 118, Celina, died July 6, 2008 at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Nov. 19, 1951, in Pikeville, Ky. to Frank and Josephine Reed Pennington. On Jan. 12, 1971, he married Sandra Grieder, who survives at the residence.
Other survivors are a son Mickeal (Kelli), Liberty, Mo.; a daughter Jennifer (Thomas) Vorhees, St. Marys; three brothers, Bobby, Dothan, Al., Buddy, Morehead, Ky., and Scott, Urbana, Ind.; three sisters, Ruth, Faye and Frankie Stamper, all of Morehead, Ky.; and six grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, James.
He was a commercial truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Ron Lane officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Military honors will be held at the graveside.
Contributions can be made to the State of the Heart Hospice.
