Building for boats
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Crews from Shinn Brothers Inc., Celina, remove rocks near the West Bank boat launch area to prepare to build a 38-by-48 foot boathouse for watercraft from the Ohio Division of Watercraft, Ohio Division of Parks and the Mercer County Sheriff's Office. The total estimated cost of the project is roughly $55,000 and it is being funded by the division of watercraft, Mercer County Commissioners, the nonprofit Lake Improvement Association, the city of Celina and other possible local organizations that may yet provide matching funds. It should be done by next spring.
