Giving Thanks meals
The turnout at the free local Giving Thanks meals on Thanksgiving Day was down for the first time since the event was initiated several years ago.
"I don't know why the numbers were down because the donations and number of volunteers were up," coordinator Bruce Swonger said Friday.

NEW BREMEN - The New Bremen Cardinals shook off a feisty New Knoxville squad to capture their Cardinal Tip-Off Tournament title with a 50-34 win over the Rangers on Saturday night at Cardinal Gymnasium.
