Jeanette Fleagle, 18, her brother, Jason, 16, hurt in 2-car accident

Two Auglaize County teens were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 2:11 p.m. Friday in Shelby County.
Jeanette Fleagle, 18, of St. Marys, was driving a 1995 Ford Contour eastbound on Kirkwood Road at the intersection of County Road 25A, south of Sidney. She reportedly drove into the path of a northbound 1990 Chevy Lumina driven by Trent Stearns, 20, of Sidney. [More]

The turnout at the free local Giving Thanks meals on Thanksgiving Day was down for the first time since the event was initiated several years ago.
"I don't know why the numbers were down because the donations and number of volunteers were up," coordinator Bruce Swonger said Friday.
