* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lowell Gagle
Lowell E. "Spiz" Gagle, 79, 701 Meadowview Drive, Celina, died Feb., 8, 2009, at his home.
He was born Jan 22, 1930, in Fort Recovery, to Dwight and Marguerite "Rita" Dilworth Gagle. On July 10, 1949, he married Juanita Hassan, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Mark A. (Dawn), Celina, and Todd (Lois), Moon Township, Pa.; a brother, Robert, Bloomington, Ind.; six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Deceased are an infant son, Lowell Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy.
He retired in 1992 after working 46 years in data processing at the Celina Group Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and the Loyal Order of Masons Lodge, both of Celina, and a past exalted ruler of the Mercer County Elks. He also was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Celina. He was an adjunct assistant professor and lab monitor at Wright State University-Lake Campus, Celina, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kim Miller officiating. Burial with full military honors conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, both of Celina, is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
