Mary Wint
Mary N. Wint, 93, 11 Eastmoor Ct., New Bremen, died March 20, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 4, 1916, in Lima to Joshua Greer and Ella Smith McCluer. On June 17, 1941, she married Paul K. Wint, who died Jan. 10, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Ann Meredith) Wint, Philadelphia, Pa., and David (Mary Jayne) Wint, Georgetown; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Orville, Robert and Lester McCluer.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, and a past board member of the Friends of the Library, New Bremen. She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University and taught business at Minster High School for 25 years before retiring in 1982.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and Thursday from 9:30 until the time of service at the church.
Contributions may be made to the church or to the Friends of the Library in New Bremen.
