CHICKASAW - A wastewater treatment agreement between the village of Chickasaw and the Mercer County commissioners received unanimous approval from village councilors Tuesday night. Commissioners are expected to take action within a week.

Montezuma business recycles vegetable oil
MONTEZUMA - A Mercer County business is widening its recycling loop to include a new product.
Frywise Inc., owned by Vance and Kimberly Nation, now provides new-style dumpsters that feature a low opening for pouring in used oil. The oil is later vacuumed out by Nation's truck driver and recycled.
