* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Richard Schumm
Richard A. Schumm, 69, of Van Wert, died at 11:53 a.m. April 12, 2009, at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Van Wert to Arthur A. and Erna W. Klenk Schumm. On March 1, 1958, he married Ann Feeney, who survives.
Others survivors are three daughters, Vickie Schumm of Colorado, Susan K. (Jeff) Triplett and Shelly R. (Terry) Rolfes, all of Celina; three brothers, Ralph (Donna) Schumm, Bluffton, Ind., Ron (Shirley) Schumm, Van Wert, and David (Lois) Schumm of California; a sister, Mary (Jim) Van Fleet, Westerville; and seven grandchildren.
He was owner of Richard A. Schumm Plumbing and Heating, Inc. Van Wert for 47 years. He was a member of Emmanual Lutheran Church, the Loyal Order of Moose, both in Van Wert, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Coldwater, the Van Wert Outdoorsmen and the National Rifle Association. He was president of board of directors of the Van Wert Community Health Professionals for 36 years.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Lance O'Donnell officiating. Burial is at Woodlands Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church or Van Wert Community Health Professionals.
Arrangements were handled by Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert.
