William Breeden
William F. "Dub" Breeden, 87, former Middletown, Ind. resident, died April 19, 2009, at Bethany Point Convalescent Campus, Anderson, Ind.
He was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Science Hill, Ky. to William F. and Ethel Ladore Line Breeden. He married Lee Olivia Brinduse, who died in 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Edmund (Deborah) Breeden, Anderson, and Michael (Karen) Breeden, Celina; two daughters, Susan Troyer and Margie Breeden, Middlebury, Ind.; a sister, Ruth (Bob) Jones, Hobe Sound, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren.
He owned and operated E & W Market in Middletown, Ind., for 16 years and the Chatterbox Restaurant. He was a 51-year member of the Middletown Lions Club and a member of the First Baptist Church, Anderson. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater in the U.S. Army.
Services are 3 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial is at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown.
