Henry Meinerding
Henry A. Meinerding, 82, of Versailles and, formerly, of Palestine, died at 5:05 a.m. May 19, 2009, at Versailles Health Care Center.
He was born August 14, 1926, in St. Joseph, to Henry and Josephine Kalkhoff Meinerding.
Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Deceased are brothers, Carl "Fuzzy" Mentor, Carl, Bill, Ray, Andy and August Meinerding; and sisters, Mary Jones, Rosella Fellers and Lucille Fellers.
He formerly worked for the railroad, the Record Company, and Greenville Tile Mill. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling 5-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
