Mercer and Auglaize counties were under a tornado warning Wednesday evening for about 45 minutes beginning around 4:30 p.m. At that time the National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Mendon and moving east at 15 mph.
