Daniel E. O'Dowd, 32, formerly of St. Marys was found dead June 5, 2009, at his residence at 4584 Marilyn St., Hilliard. An autopsy has been ordered to determine cause of death.

He was born Aug. 7, 1976, in Flagstaff, Ariz. to Leo and Monica Oen O'Dowd.

Surviving are his parents in St. Marys; a brother, Robert (Page) O'Dowd, Greenville, S.C.; a sister, Dr. Leslie O'Dowd, Lima; a grandfather, Marvin Oen, St. Marys; and a girlfriend, Melissa Lyons, Columbus.

Deceased are grandparents, Edmund and Christine Forrest O'Dowd; and a grandmother, Anna Hoorman Oen.

He worked as a registered pharmacist for CVS Drug Stores in the Columbus area. He attended St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, Dublin, and graduated in 1994 from St. Marys Memorial High School and, in 1999, from The Oho State University School of Pharmacy, Columbus.

Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday June 12, 2009, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial is at St. Thomas Cemetery, Glynwood.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
