The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Flood Warning for... Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... * Until 130 PM EDT Thursday. * At 130 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding is occurring across both counties with numerous roads under water and small creeks and streams still in flood. Radar indicated that the heavy rainfall has ended across the area. However, runoff from the earlier excessive rain will cause flooding to continue to occur. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Celina, Wapakoneta, St. Marys, Coldwater, Fort Shawnee, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Cridersville, Fort Recovery, Rockford, New Knoxville, Waynesfield, Moulton, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Burkettsville, Buckland and Uniopolis.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, including the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN, and Wayne. In Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH, and Warren. * Through Thursday evening * Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue at times through Thursday afternoon. Although coverage of storms may briefly decrease later tonight, runoff from earlier excessive rainfall will continue to lead to flooding through the overnight period. Renewed storm activity late Thursday morning may act to worsen existing flooding across the region. * Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected on Thursday, and the risk for flash flooding will continue through Thursday evening, with up to an additional inch possible through this time period.
