Health Dept. investigating cause

Less than a month after nearly 100 guests fell ill after a wedding reception, another local get-together has resulted in dozens of sick people.
The Mercer County-Celina City Health Department is investigating what caused more than 40 people to become ill after attending the Mercer County Democratic summer picnic on July 23 at Coldwater Memorial Park. [More]

Celina man faces charges involving pain patch death
Spectators came to Mercer County Common Pleas Court Wednesday afternoon expecting to hear a 59-year-old Celina man enter a plea to charges stemming from the drug-related death of a local woman. Instead they learned a new court-appointed attorney is needed before the arraignment takes place.
