The Celina Education Association (CEA) on Thursday night overwhelming rejected the ratification of a tentative agreement between itself and the Celina Board of Education members.
On Tuesday, board members and the CEA signed a tentative agreement for a two-year contract that would not become official unless ratified by the members of the CEA. [More]

Auglaize November election ballot
Ten contested races and two issues in Auglaize County made Thursday's 4 p.m. ballot deadline, leaving New Knoxville council with four open seats and no candidates filed.
Mercer November election ballot
Many Mercer County citizens have stepped forward to fill ballot positions for school board, council and township trustee openings since last week, when few had filed for the seats.
