Weathered tombstones surround the Steinemann Chapel at St. Augustine Cemetery in Minster. John Henry Steinemann, a prominent local resident, commissioned building of the chapel in 1855 in thanksgiving for the recovery of his wife, Gertrude Meyer Steinemann.
