Lowell Bohman
Lowell L. Bohman, 73, 846 Pauline Dr., Coldwater died Oct. 31, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 20, 1935, in New Weston to Henry and Francis Oliger Bohman. On Aug. 27, 1960, he married Delores "Dee" Huelsman Bohman, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Deborah (Doug) Buehler, St. Henry, Daniel (Kathy) Bohman, Coldwater and Donald (Amy) Bohman, Springboro; a brother, Lester (Doris) Bohman, St. Henry; a sister, Dolores (Lavern) Rolfes, Celina; and 12 grandchildren.
He attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and was a member of Holy Name Society of the Church, Disabled American Veterans of Mercer County, commissioner on Mercer County Veterans Service Board, served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a life member of Coldwater American Legion. In the past he was an usher and communion distributor at Holy Trinity. He also volunteered at the Mercer County sheriff office. He retired from the former New Idea plant in Coldwater and owned the former Bohman's Guns and Supplies in Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, in Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m.Tuesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater
