Dorothy Craft
Dorothy D. Craft, 84, Van Wert, died at 8:55 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born July 22, 1925, in Hot Springs, S.D., to Fred J. and Edythe Gose DeWitt. On Aug. 25, 1946, she married Robert Lee Craft, who died Nov. 14, 2006.
Surviving are six sons, Robert (Diana) Craft Jr., Cheyenne, Wyo., Barry (Nancy) Craft, Greensboro, N.C., John Craft, Marysville, Roger (Lisa) Craft, Covington, David (Katie) Craft, Loveland, and Brian (Leslie) Craft, Bowling Green; two daughters, Jeanne Ann (Douglas) Bollenbacher, Celina, and Bonnie (Stephen) Kretz, Perrysburg; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Bob and Bill DeWitt.
She retired in 1992 from Central Mutual Insurance, Van Wert, as a data entry operator for 18 years. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church and Retired Employees of Central Mutual, Van Wert. She was a 1943 graduate of Hot Spring High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial is 11 a.m. Nov. 16 at Black Hill National Cemetery, Sturgis, S.D.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
