* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Joseph Veit
Joseph W. Veit, 79, died at 2:01 a.m. Nov. 3, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Wapakoneta to Dr. Alfred and Agatha Lyons Veit.
Surviving are a nephew, Jud Cooley, Escondido, Calif.; a niece, Leah Jones, Overland Park, Kan.; and a caregiver, Joe Schlater, Wapakoneta.
Deceased are a sister, Sally (John L.) Cooley, and a nephew, Brad Cooley.
He taught English composition and logic and college preparatory classes at Minster High School for nearly 30 years, along with directing high school and community theatre productions.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army from 1954 to 1956, spending a majority of that time in Germany. He conducted church choirs at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, and St. Augustine in Minster. He also organized and conducted The Wapakoneta Chorale.
Memorial service is noon Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. He was cremated.
A private burial will be held for immediate family and close friends.
