Special Weather Statement issued March 16 at 7:47PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

First snowfall
Photo by Shelley Grieshop/The Daily Standard

Snow clings to a decorated railing in front of the Mercer County courthouse early this morning. Although the white stuff didn't amount to much, it is the first visible snowfall this winter in the Grand Lake area. Light flurries are expected to continue today with a high of 35. Tomorrow will be a wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow with a high of 36 expected.
