Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.

No teachers' salary increase for first year
A new two-year contract between the Fort Recovery school board and the teachers' union was finalized this week at a school board meeting.
The agreement, effective Aug. 1, 2010, includes a zero percent salary increase the first year and a 1.2 percent increase the second year.

In order for Grand Lake to be eligible for huge sums of money to improve water quality, a conservancy or like nonprofit group designated as a 501 (c) 3 needs to be set up as a receptor for the funds.
Fort Recovery Village Council members this week approved the second reading of a wage ordinance that would increase the pay of full-time employees.
Village Administrator Randy Diller said the proposed increase is 25 cents an hour or 1.3 percent for all nine full-time employees.
Bids for a new modular barge for Grand Lake are expected to be opened Dec. 23, Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Manager Craig Morton reported at a Lake Development Corporation meeting this week.
