Special Weather Statement issued January 14 at 2:54PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday. Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions. In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

The Epleys - a father and son from Sidney - appeared in Mercer County Common Pleas Court Wednesday afternoon in connection with a December burglary at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall in Coldwater.
When I approached former Coldwater girls basketball coach Charlie Maier about his thoughts for this week's story, I realized requesting a Hall of Fame coach to single out one game from a 20-plus year career was sort of like asking John Wayne to pinpoint his favorite gunfight.
