Marjorie Dabbelt
Marjorie Irene Dabbelt, 80, 1103 Lilac St., Celina, died at 6 p.m. Feb. 1, 2010, in the emergency room at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Sept. 9, 1929, in Celina, to Louis and Luedna Alexander Schulte. On June 12, 1951, she married Thomas O. Dabbelt, who died Dec. 20, 1999.
Surviving are three daughters, Kathy (Tim) Stuckey, Lima, and Jan (Todd) Yackey and Diane (Jay) Imwalle, all of Celina; a sister, Virginia Bensman, Fort Mitchell, Ky.; six granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Bob Schulte; and a sister, Betty Deitrick.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a secretary at Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina, and the former New Idea plant in Coldwater. She also baked pies for Pullman Bay Restaurant, Celina. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its Altar Rosary Society, and a former member of Our Lady of Gaudalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma. A graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School, Celina, she also was a member of a local prayer chain and had volunteered at both churches and as a school cafeteria worker.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Celina church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Montezuma.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
