Edna Borgerding
Edna L. Borgerding, 87, 236 E. Columbus St., St. Henry, died at 7:20 a.m. Feb. 9, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Dec. 16, 1922, in Chickasaw, to Henry and Elizabeth Grieshop Dorsten. On Oct. 12, 1942, she married Oscar Borgerding, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Bob (Jan) Borgerding, St. Henry; a daughter, Jane (Dan) Bruns, Chickasaw; a brother, Elmer Dorsten, Coldwater; a sister, Ludwina Miller, Coldwater; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, William and David Borgerding; and a brother, Edwin Dorsten.
She retired from Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. A graduate of Coldwater High School, she was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
