Elizabeth Schulze
Elizabeth "Betty" L. Schulze, 74, of Amsterdam Road, Anna, died at 6:10 p.m. Feb. 24, 2010, at her home .
She was born Nov. 14, 1935, in Wendelin, to Andrew and Cecelia Hemmelgarn Albers. On June 11, 1957, she married Richard B. Schulze, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Roger (Pam) Schulze and Eugene (Laura) Schulze, of Sidney; two brothers, Robert (JoAnn) Albers, North Star, and James (Judy) Albers, Wapakoneta; three sisters, Sister Ann Cecelia Albers, Cincinnati, Mary (Fred) Schmitz Fort Recovery, and Charlene (Herb) Homan, Sharpsburg; and a brother-in-law, Al Barlage ,Wapakoneta.
Deceased are three children, Mary Ann, Larry and Patty Schulze; two siblings, Rita Barlage and Marilyn Albers; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She worked as a secretary at Easy Hutch/Holtkamp Implement in Kettlersville for 25 years and retired in 2001. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Henry High School. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, and its Rosary Sodality, and was a CCD teacher and coordinator. She also was a member of the church prayer line, the Radio Rosary coordinator and was a volunteer at several organizations.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John W. Tonkin officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
