Delores Meyer
Delores Ann Meyer, 80, of Franklin Drive, Bloomsburg, Pa., died at 6 p.m. Feb. 28, 2010, at her home.
She was born June 6, 1929, in Egypt, to Henry and Clara Schlarman Prenger. On May 9, 1953, she married Louis Meyer, who died May 3, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Robert Meyer, Covington; two daughters, Kathleen (John) Ventura, Bloomsburg, Pa., and Shirley Meyer, Sidney; four brothers, Edward (Millie) Prenger and Warner (Norma Jeanne) Prenger, both of Coldwater, Clete (Roseann) Prenger, Minster, and Ralph (Ruth Ann) Prenger, Jackson Center; four sisters, Voila Schmidt, Minster, Mary Ann (Marty) Lefeld, St. Henry, Alma Meyer, Fort Loramie, and Theresa (Roger) Schmidt, Anna; two sisters-in-law, Angela and Millie Prenger, both of Coldwater; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Norbert and Leonard Prenger, a sister, Alvina Ahrns, and three brothers-in-laws, Vernon Ahrns, Ray Schmidt and Herman Meyer.
She was a homemaker and worked on a dairy farm. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Newport.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is following the Mass at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
