St. Henry High School freshman Devin Froning, left, and junior Mitchell Schulze add items to the school's recycle trailer Thursday morning. The Redskin Recycling trailer is operated by the school's FFA department and staffed by students on the second Saturday of each month. All proceeds benefit Children's Hospital, Dayton. Accepted for recycling are newspaper, junk mail, magazines and catalogs with hardback covers removed; plastic items labeled number 1 and 2; flattened cardboard; clear, brown and green glass that is rinsed and without lids; and aluminum cans. Temporarily, aluminum cans can be dropped off in front of the ag building until a drop-off area is available. Prohibited are plastic bags, windows, light bulbs and treated glass.
