'Harvest Table' to provide food, friendship to public

CELINA - A local church is offering a free weekly meal and fellowship to all area residents beginning Saturday.

CELINA - Mercer County commissioners are attempting to secure money to tear down the former jail and make way for extra parking spaces.
The new jail - officially called the Mercer County Adult Detention Center - became fully operational one month ago along state Route 29, west of Celina.
A local program that offers youth offenders an alternative to formal Mercer County Juvenile Court proceedings has received more than $45,000 in Recovery Act grant money from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice (OCJS).
