Ethel Boeckman
Ethel M. Boeckman, 89, Coldwater, died at 4:50 a.m. July 25, 2010, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born July 22, 1921, in St. Anthony, to John and Mary Gross Diller. On May 21, 1946, she married Robert Boeckman, who died Oct. 16, 2001.
Surviving is a son, Jim (Nancy) Boeckman, Celina; a brother-in-law, Bill (Jane) Boeckman, Coldwater; four sisters-in-law, Rita Diller, Coldwater, Mary Tumbusch, St. Henry, and Mary Agnes Boeckman and Eileen Boeckman, both of Coldwater; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two daughters, Janet Parker and Joan Boeckman; two sisters, Adela Diller and Sr. Mary Adela Diller; five brothers, Zeno Diller, the Rev. Otto Diller, Walter Diller, Donald Diller and the Rev. Harold Diller; and a great-grandson.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Rosary altar sodality of the church, St. Cecelia Knights of St. John Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Coldwater. She also was a bloodmobile volunteer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials can be made to St. Francis Convent in Tiffin or the State of the Heart Hospice.
