Special Weather Statement issued February 15 at 1:53PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Some patchy fog will linger this afternoon, but more widespread fog is expected tonight into Monday morning. Visibilities are likely to be reduced below one mile, with quarter mile or lower visibilities possible. Isolated locations may observe temperatures at or just below freezing. If dense fog occurs in these locations, some slick spots may develop on elevated surfaces. When encountering fog, be sure to turn on low beam headlights, slow down, and increase following distance.
WAPAKONETA - A siren shattered the traditional midway sounds at the 158th Auglaize County Fair on Monday. Neal Snyder drew young and old alike to his entertaining Firefighter Training Show, a new addition to the fair lineup.
GRAND LAKE - A Celina official plans to apply for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers funds to dredge part of algae-plagued Grand Lake and use the material to build islands.
For Sue's Animal Rescue Team (SART) that call could be said another 217 times to summon all the cats and kittens at her shelter just south of St. Marys. However, one immediate difference to the call would be that Sue's cats all have names.
The Celina Dolphins dominated the swimming portion of the Tri-County Swimming and Diving Championships held July 24 at Celina's Bryson Pool. It was the first time that Bryson Pool hosted the swimming championships.
